My son attended Craig ES from K-5. He received a well rounded education. There are many extracurricular activities available throughout the school year. Of course, as in all schools, there are a few teachers whose personal likes/dislikes are displayed in their interaction with children. Overall, we only encountered one difficult teacher throughout his years at the school. Kudos the administrative staff who are supportive and willing to help resolve conflicts. Great principal also, very personable. Overall great school.

Great School. Great home works. Great teachers. Great Students. This school is great. The Teacher works hard to make sure all the students are successful. They have some of the best test scores in the county

My son has been a student at Craig for the last 3 years and we have had a wonderful experience. Craig is a school of excellence and it is apparent that teachers and administrators are striving to meet the needs of the children and to ensure that they have the resources they need to succeed and reach their greatest potential. The parental support and involvement is also great. I have been very pleased.

My daughter was transfered to Craig to last year from Gwin Oaks and I must say what a difference between the 2 schools. The teachers at Gwin Oaks didn't seemed concerned about her education and I was often told to put her on medication which I didn't agree with at all. The first year at Craig she made the honor roll twice without any medication at all. Mrs. Ray is a very good principal and is truly concerned about all the kids education and encourages all of them to be the best they can be!

We LOVE Craig! We were a transfer from the Shiloh Cluster for the 07-08 school year and found that the teachers are great, the academic standard is high. They provide quality education along with a great environment. The teachers really work hard for the students to achieve.

I am more than in agreement with the many parents who have reviewed Craig Elementary before me - the principal is very difficult to work with. But, she is retiring this year and we all hope for a new and more open environment. The parents are still there and more than willing to participate, so we are all excited to see what comes next!

We moved to this area because of this school. Our first year at Craig was wonderful. We loved Ms Kate Ervin, her teacher of 2nd grade. Our daughter improved tremendously and achieved straight As.

Craig was once a wonderful school. I really tried to give the new principal the benefit of the doubt. She has a personal agenda and is unwilling [to] admit or correct mistakes. Parents no longer feel welcomed at the school. The grade level leader-teachers are often in meetings during the school 'teaching' day. The principal sent out a letter listing the teachers that would not be returning next year and their reason for leaving. As of this year, the school has also fallen down in its ranking based on CRCT test.

I love this school. I did a lot of research before moving to this school cluster from another within Gwinnett county. Over the past 3 years my child has attended, I have found just about every staff member, from top tiers down, to be attentive, caring and quite passionate about providing quality education in a quality setting. The school far exceeds my expectations in every way.

I have one child which completed Craig Elementary and one now in the school. In years past, Craig was an inviting and welcoming school to parent involvement. Teacher morale has declined as well as parent involvement and input to the school. While the quality of teachers has not declined, the atmosphere that they and the parents have to contend with in the new administration is far lacking in true community union. This principal should review what made Craig such a success in the beginning and move back to what works, rather than 'forcing' opinions and her own personal agenda. Children (and teachers) have gone from anticipating with delight to go to school, to an atmostphere of restriction and intimidation because of all the 'new rules' without justification. Learning can be fun. We need a change in administration for our school, before it has a negative affect on the learning and value of our community.

My children have attended Craig ES for many years. Prior to the new administration, the school appeared to be more welcoming. Cultural Night has been eliminated. This used to be a highlight for children and parents during the school year and embraced cultural diversity. The former principal was much more accessible than is the current principal. As with any school, some teachers are excellent and others are adequate. The academic programs are excellent. The inner circle can be difficult to penetrate.
